Simple Pizza Dough Recipe

Here is a simple pizza dough recipe that you can try at home:

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water (around 110°F)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the bowl, and stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes on a floured surface until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover it with a towel. Let it rise for 30-60 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.
  5. Punch the dough down to release the air, and knead it briefly to remove any air bubbles.
  6. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
  7. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 12 inches in diameter.
  8. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  9. Add your desired toppings and bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
